Infrared thermometer determines the surface temperature of an object by measuring the infrared energy radiated from the surface. It is suitable for measuring the surface temperature of various high-temperature, toxic or hard-to-reach objects in express delivery. The device consists of an optical system, a photoelectric sensor, a signal amplifier, a signal processing circuit and a liquid crystal display. The optical system gathers the infrared energy radiated from the surface of the object to the photoelectric sensor, which converts the energy into corresponding electrical signals. These signals are amplified and processed by the signal amplifier and signal processing circuit, and finally display the readings on the liquid crystal display.
